The Council of Australasian Weed Societies, the New Zealand Biosecurity Institute (NZBI), and the New Zealand Plant Protection Society (NZPPS) are jointly hosting the 24th Australasian Weeds Conference (AWC), to be held in Ōtautahi Christchurch, Aotearoa New Zealand, from 23–27 August 2026.
The conference theme “Collaboration Across Borders: Sharing knowledge for effective weed management” reflects the importance of working together across regions and disciplines to protect our unique environments, economies, and communities from the impacts of invasive weeds.
